Simply email or whatsapp the image file to info@ohsocrafty.co.za / 082 775 0802 OR contact us via the contact form at the bottom of this page, with the size you are considering, and the drill/diamond shape you would like (round or square) OR upload the image on this page, with your details. We assess the image to see if it will work in the size requested (if not we recommend a size), and then send you a “proof” of what it would look like as a diamond painting, with a quote.
What is included with the kit?
High quality coded adhesive canvas to stick the diamonds onto, with clear symbols.
A variety of coloured drills/diamonds to complete your painting. Our customs generally have 40-60 colours, depending on the picture. There are only fewer colours if the image doesn’t require as many colours.
Toolpack which contains the tools required to stick the diamonds onto the canvas (sorting tray, wax, stylus/pen, tweezers).

What pictures can I use?
You can turn almost any picture into a diamond painting!
The best customs are made from high resolution pictures. We do our best to work with whatever file you send though and we enhance the image to produce the best diamond painting possible.,
Below are a few examples of image files that do not generally work:
– Images downloaded from Facebook as the files have been compressed.
– Photos of photos – if you have a printed photo that you want to make as a diamond painting, please do not take a photo of the image. Rather take the photo to a photocopy shop and send us that image. We will see if the picture is viable for a diamond painting.
– Screenshots of photos on your phone. Please rather forward us the photo on your phone.
– Black animals – in general these simply appear as a black shadow with no eye or face definition. Other colour animals generally work fine.
We have detailed the prices for a few of the most common sizes we make as customs, and a guideline for what kind of images work in those sizes (we have unfortunately had to increase our prices due to the huge increase in exchange rate. Prices will be adjusted accordingly should the exchange rate go up or down):
30x40cm – R270 – 1 face close up
40x50cm – R400 – 2 faces close up
50x60cm – R570 – 2 faces up to shoulders or 3 faces close up
60x80cm – R765 – 3 faces up to shoulders or 4 faces close up
These are just guidelines as each image is different. If you need a custom size, please select the CUSTOM SIZE option from the drop-down.
Larger canvases have more details and look more like the original image.
Please note – all sizes are PICTURE size. If you order a 40x50cm the picture will be 40x50cm, the canvas will be 53x43cm.
